I have been friends with Deana since 2004 when we both used to work together (I was a 911 dispatcher and she was a fire-fighter/paramedic). We went on a trip to Las Vegas with a bunch of other co-workers and came back solid friends. She loved my accent, I loved her smile! Through the years I have taken many MANY photographs of Deana and I was beyond honored when she asked that I shoot her wedding.
The one thing you should know about Deana is her love for all things Fall-related. October, the trees turning color, the anticipation of the end of the year etc., so her wedding on October 1st was a given. What was also a given was the cold, gray, rainy weather that Ohio blesses us with 🙂
Together with Paul we got some pretty awesome photos even if we all did freeze, and we had fun with a great couple and their bridal party – have I told you lately how much I love a great bridal party? Because I do. Love a great bridal party that is! 😉
Anyway, let’s get on with the wedding day shall we?
I started with the girls……….
Paul started with the guys…………
Then it was time for the ceremony! Deana and Ray were married at St. William Catholic Church in Champion, Ohio and it was just lovely – not a dry eye in the house as Deana’s Grandfather walked her down the aisle.
Once the ceremony was over, we headed out for bridal party photographs. Did I mentioned it was already a cold, rainy day? We drove to the Stambaugh Auditorium for some indoor photos and this place is STUNNING. Absolutely gorgeous for photographs.
Once we had finished there we headed over to the Howland Fire Department where Ray is a fire-fighter.
Then it was time to head to Sorrento’s Banquet Hall for the rocking reception! One thing I LOVED about this reception is that EVERYONE was smiling and happy and just enjoying themselves. Clearly………..
Congratulations Deana and Ray! I am so VERY very happy for you both and the future ahead of you.
I say this all the time, but our “Deanner” is sooo photogenic !!
That she is! 🙂
Andi, these photos are gorgeous. You’re such a great photographer, I wish I could get married again and have you shoot my wedding.
Congrats, Deana & Ray. Looks like you had an amazing day.
