Do you have a friend that you’ve only known for a short time but it feels like you’ve known them forever. A friend who lives what seems like a million miles away that you know you’ll only see once in a while? I do. That friend is Jen.
While out in California shooting the Urban family, I also got the chance to meet and shoot some other families that live on the 29 Palms Marine Base. Jen’s family was one of those. I spent some time with Jen, Kyle and Gavin out at Joshua Tree National Park, then once the shoot was over Jen was nice enough to take me out for the rest of the day to sightsee and take lots of photos. We spent the whole of the next day together too with Gavin in tow and when it was time for me to leave I honestly felt sad and KNEW I’d made a friend for life – ‘A sista from another mista’ as Jen so eloquently phrased it 🙂 We laughed so much during those two days! Luckily for me, Jen and her family are heading out this way to see me in April so I’m very happy about that. Here are some of the photos I took from my time with Jen and her family 🙂
