Alex & Shane – Married ~ Cleveland, OH

I first met Alex when I shot Jamie & John’s wedding back in July although she booked me way before that! I knew from the minute we met that she would be fun to work with and I wasn’t wrong 🙂

The day before their wedding we had decided to do a quick ‘engagement-type’ shoot. Given that they live in Kentucky and I live in South Carolina it had been hard getting that done leading up to their big day, so a last minute shoot it was. You all know Ohio and nice weather are like oil and water right? Well, we had plenty of water that day. PAH-LEN-TEEE of water! Don’t believe me? Check this out!

The bridesmaid with the iPhone and speakers at the salon? She was playing “Say a Little Prayer for You” from My Best Friends Wedding and everyone in the salon was singing it! 🙂

Alex and Shane were married at St John Cantius in the Tremont area of Cleveland – STUNNING church!

Once the ceremony was over we headed over to the Museum of Modern Art for some bridal party photographs.

Once we were done we headed over to Windows on The River for their reception. For their first dance Alex and Shane practically covered the dance floor with a dance they had spent weeks rehearsing 🙂 They were amazing! The band had everyone up rocking and – quite literally in the case of Grandma in her wheelchair – rolling 🙂
