I have known Amber for some time now, we typically meet at weddings that I’m shooting and she’s working with the bride and her girls with their hair etc., She had contacted me a while back asking about engagement photos and we got to talking about her wedding which was going to be in Colorado. Those that know me KNOW that the one state I’ve always wanted to visit since moving to the US is Colorado. So, we chatted more, talked details etc., and thus I was booked to shoot her wedding! As if I wasn’t excited enough, after the ‘rehearsal dinner’ we all went to the local rodeo in Steamboat Springs – I genuinely think I’m a cowgirl at heart 😉 I took so many photos and videos of just my ‘spare time’ that I’ll have to do a whole other post…..
The wedding was very intimate, attended only by close family members and was held at her Daddy’s second home in Clark, CO – about 30 minutes from Steamboat Springs. When I tell you the view from this property was breathtaking, I am sure that doesn’t even come CLOSE to exactly HOW breathtaking it was. The mountains, the lake, the land, the wildlife…….. it was just amazing and I was constantly reminded how lucky I am to have clients that trust me and love my work enough to book me.
Anyway, enough talking, here are some images I got…… (Click on the images to see the larger version)
