Darcie & Mark – Married, Cleveland, OH

Relaxed. Calm. Collected. Serene.

If you look these words up in the dictionary you will find a photograph of Mrs Darcie Warmuth, my bride from Saturday. Taking everything in her stride and just aiming to fully enjoy the day and take it all in was her goal that day. She exceeded that.

Darcie’s lovely mom on the other hand needed tissue after tissue and lots of hugs to even get through the morning 🙂

Paul started his day with the guys while they were getting ready.

Back at the house, the girls were getting ready before church. In this photograph you can see the hat that Darcie’s Dad used to wear when he was a firefighter. He had passed away a few years ago and I wanted to make sure some element of him was shown. The chain hanging from the hat? He gave that to Darcie’s mom when they were in 8th grade – childhood sweethearts – and she had worn it on her wedding day and today Darcie was wearing it on HER wedding day. The coin in the shoe? Darcie’s Grandfather put it in her diaper the day Darcie was brought home from hospital 🙂

The church was beautiful and talk about gorgeous stained glass windows!

Once the ceremony and formal photographs were taken care of, we headed over to Fairport Harbor to take some photographs with the fire truck. Did I mention Mark is a Fairport Harbor Firefighter? 🙂 I love to get opportunities like this.

Then we headed to Coulby Park to take more photos.

Eventually it was time to head to St Noel’s Banquet Center for the reception. Talk about a rocking reception. With over 300 guests it was non-stop all night long!
