You may remember Matt and Filomena from their rainy, windy engagement shoot in Little Italy and The Flats of Cleveland last year. Well, the weather thankfully held out for them the day of their wedding! I was shooting with Paul again and as you can see we got some pretty amazing shots!
I started with the girls bright and early at the salon.
One of the many pre-wedding gifts Matt gave Filomena. For a while now he has been writing her poems and he gave her a binder that contained all of them together. The handwritten ones on the left of each page and that poem typed up on the right. We all read them and some were very funny! 😉
Paul started with the guys.

Matt and Filomena were married at St John Vianney in Mentor, Ohio – a church I have shot several weddings at, I just LOVE this place. there were smiles all the way through the ceremony 🙂
Once the wedding was over, we headed downtown to get some really fun bridal party shots. It wasn’t until the morning of the wedding that we realized that the Cleveland Air Show would be happening the same day/weekend. With over 48,000 attendees you can guess that we were hard-pressed to shoot in a location where there WEREN’T lots of people in the background :-/ We managed to find some places though!
At this point the bridal party were pretty pooped – clearly – so it was time to head to the reception which was at Normandy Catering where there wasn’t a shortage of food nor dancing!
This was such a fun day to shoot, and Matt and Folimena, thanks for letting us capture it, Congratulations!
