Photographs by Andrea – In Front of the Lens!

In the next couple of weeks I will be re-designing my website and thought it was about time I got some new ‘about me’ photos taken to go along with the new look. So, while I was up in Ohio this past weekend I roped my good friend Paul Lender of Left of Center Photography to snap a few shots. My email to him was along the lines of “I know you are going to be shooting with me Thursday evening, all day Friday and Saturday, but could you possibly bear to hang with me a tiny bit more and shoot me?”

Turns out he could 🙂

You’d think as a photographer I’d have SOME clue as to how to pose, what to do etc., I had none. Zero. Zip.

I was so nervous I even broke out a robot dance or two………….. *ashamed*

Having my photographs taken has given me a new sense of how nervous my clients feel and trust me, this will be taken into consideration during any future shoots with you all 🙂

Oh, and for your further enjoyment at my expense, here is an outtake! Paul asked his son “Doesn’t Mrs Knapp remind you of Han Solo?” to which Carter replied “Yes!!!” Hhmmm……….. I hope it was the t-shirt and vest and not the manly resemblance he was talking about 😮

This was a LOT of fun and the perfect way to wind down a busy few days! If anyone is looking for a shoot up in Ohio, whether it’s portrait, boudoir, wedding, senior etc., check him out! Just don’t go dressed as ANY Star Wars character! 😉
