Martha was referred by a prior bride’s mother, and called me a couple of months ago to set up a portrait appointment for their Anniversary. She told me that they didn’t really have any current photographs of them both together and it was about to time to fix that! Once we got our schedules together, we met and they got their portraits!
Martha and John grow Muscadine grapes, blueberries etc., on their land and during the shoot I got to taste the grapes for myself. Delicious! We shot some of their photographs down by the pond at the end of the grapevines and also IN the grapevines. I had SO much fun on this shoot that I didn’t want it to end. They are a delightful couple – Martha and her smile, John and the twinkle in his eye – who value family and family photographs and it was lovely looking at old photographs of their family and seeing both of them as young children!
