As many of you know I have a ‘Babies First Year’ package which covers a Maternity Session, Newborn, 3-6-9 and 12 month shoots complete with a small album of select images taken throughout that year. If you didn’t well you do NOW! 😉
When parents book this package I explain that they also have the option of me covering the birth for FREE. Most feel that this is a private time for the family but it also passes by in a blur of excitement, pain and happiness and is almost forgotten once the baby is born. This is why some parents DO decide to go ahead and have me there. I am discreet and unobtrusive while taking the photos and at the end they have beautiful, happy memories that they can share with other family and friends who couldn’t be there.
Cody’s parents wanted me there and Brittany’s Aunt called me to head on down – I raced to McLeod Hospital in Florence just in time to hear his first cry……….

Seeing these pictures again brings happy tears to my eyes. You have captured some of the most beautiful moments of my life. My only regret is that I wish we had known how fast things were going to happen and had called you sooner!
Cody will be in front of my camera for his 6 month shoot next week and I just can’t believe that time is flying by SO quickly!
To me this is what photography is all about, you captured that moment in time so special to every family and did an amazing job. Great work.
